Shower Meditation Breathing Exercise For People With No Time to Meditate

Meditation is such a powerful form of mindfulness, spiritual guidance, connection to self, connection to source. When I meditate for 30 minutes, I feel as if I slept 6 hours. What keeps you from meditating daily? For most of us, time is a huge concern. “WHEN in my busy day will I ever get to meditate?” I hear that a lot. I have a quick, easy meditation you can do in the shower in just a few moments. My dear friend and fellow coach, Jenn Funk from What Evolved Women Want posted this meditation, and I just love it!

Breathwork is an EXCELLENT way to quickly ease into a meditation. By breathing deeply, we calm down the parasympathetic nervous system and relax the body, and the brain. We open up energetic space so that we can literally breathe, not just with our lungs, but with our entire soul. Try out Jenn’s Shower Meditation and see what I mean!

Shower Meditation 💦

With one hand on your belly and one hand on your heart take 5 deep belly breaths. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Concentrate on the feeling of water upon your skin.

Visualize the water washing away all of your stress and anxiety.

Envision the power of the water washing away each one of your negative thoughts.

Keep breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Feel all of your sadness, regret, shame, loneliness and anger releasing from your heart space.

Feel any emotion or heavy sensation that is not serving your highest good releasing from your body.

Let the water wash it away. Let it all go down the drain.

Now take a moment to fill your body and space back up with peace, love, goodness and light.

You are safe – You are LOVE –
